DAN OXYGEN PROVIDER

The Divers Alert Network (DAN) is a nonprofit organization that exists to provide expert information and advice consistent with the current medical literature for the benefit of the diving public.

This course represents entry level training to educate the diver on recognizing diving related injuries and providing emergency oxygen first aid. It includes:

Lecture
Rescue Breathing Practice
Injured Diver Scenarios
Familiarization with the DAN Oxygen Unit

This course is excellent for the diver moving toward Divemaster or higher qualifications. The course is also credited as a PADI Distinctive Specialty with a small additional processing fee.

PADI courses offer the most comprehensive and modern diver training available in the world today. PADI courses are the only scuba courses to be recommended by the American Council on Education for college credit hours.
